What is a resume job match score?
It estimates how well the content of your resume covers the requirements in one specific job description — skills, tools, seniority signals and responsibilities.
Why do skills in my Skills section not count fully?
A skill listed without any supporting bullet is flagged as listed but not evidenced. Recruiters and ranking systems give more weight to skills shown in real work.
Does keyword stuffing raise the score?
No. Repeating keywords without context is detected and does not improve the match. Evidence in your summary and recent bullets matters most.
Is the job match score the same for every job?
No. It is tied to the single posting you paste, so the same resume will score differently for different roles.
